Jason Dohring

Jason Dohring is the hottie "Logan" from Veronica Mars. I have watched and loved his show since season 1.

I was so excited when I found out Jason Dohring, Francis Capra, (Weevil) and Michael Muhney (Sheriff Lamb) were announced for BE Blowout August 2006. My kind hubby had purchased a VIP ticket for me for Christmas, so it meant Front Row, first for pictures, autographs, parties. It would be an outstanding mini Veronica Mars reunion.

I immediately started thinking of what the right clothes, jewelry, Boas, gift, would be. I had a friend make a caricature of Jason Dohring and all the other main guests, a big one to be signed, and little ones for the guests to take home as a souvenir of the convention.

A few weeks before the convention I found out that almost the entire cast of Veronica Mars was going to be at the San Diego Comic Con. This was great news because I was already planning on going. So when I got there I hung out at the WB booth every day, sometimes 5-6 times a day asking when and where the Veronica Mars autographs would be. I made friends with the head lady there who took down my cell phone number so she could call me when the signing was to begin. (Karen you are da Bomb!) On Saturday I got a call and rushed over to start the autograph line, it was closed off 5 minutes later! We were so lucky. I and my friends were so excited when the cast came in, there was Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, Ryan Hansen, Michael Muhney, Francis Capra, and Enrico Colantoni. It was so much fun meeting each one, Michael Muhney remembered Dylan and I from Wizard World a few months back and he was able to get Jason and Ryan to pose for this lovely picture for Dylan. It was finally time to meet Jason Dohring! I walked up with his Veronica Mars card I had and he signed it "love Jason Dohring" I said I would be seeing him in a few weeks at Blowout, he smiled and looked into my eyes and said, "I love that you are going, now I am really looking forward to being there" It was such a super high.

A few weeks later it's August 18th, time for Blowout to start. I have such great expectations and then Saturday morning it's photo op time, I see Jason come in and he looks so handsome in a black T-shirt and Grey jacket, I give a little wave and he looks right at me, winks and mouths "hello again" WOW Jason Dohring actually remembered me, I could have died happy there, but luckily I did not and the rest of this fabulous weekend happened. I was 8th in line so when I got up there I gave him a shy hug and asked if it would be ok if I kissed him on the cheek as that was kind of my trade mark pose, he said sure thing and struck a sexy pose and I actually kissed him, awww it was awesome!

Autographs

are up next. My friends and I were actually running the auto's line so we had the opportunity to watch Jason Dohring and all the other guests interact with the attendees. I had my sister take through the combo pic I had taken earlier with Jason, Michael, Francis and my Boa. Each one wrote something funny, Jason wrote, "Oh dear Francis you are so pretty" then an unbelievable thing happened when Jason Dohring called me back cause he forgot something, and then he wrote "Monique I Love U" with a heart for love. It was the best feeling ever! :)

Jason came to this party cause he was filming VM Friday, and he was just so cute and he was almost embarrassed by all the attention he got, it was so fun to try and get him to talk cause Michael and Francis could keep the conversation going forever. I had spent so much time picking out the right dress and accessories I was thrilled that I had an opportunity to get a picture with Jason, all dressed up. For Sunday then I had a special luncheon ticket, I had talked to Jason the night before about saving him a seat, he was the last guest to enter the lunch and you saw all eyes go to the door hoping he would pick their table, but he looked around saw me smiled a

nd waved and headed over, my friend Kazumi is a very big Veronica Mars fan and loves Jason Dohring in particular, so instead of sitting by him, I had arranged for him to sit by her, it was so great to see her blush and the two of them talk, then close tothe end of the lunch Michael Muhney was passing by behind us and Jason commented on how lovely my pink dress was and Michael and Brendan Fehr,(whom was seated to my right) piped in that it was the perfect color for me and I decided right then and there never to remove that dress again. Then Jackie6 captured the moment with this marvelous photo That was the perfect moment of the weekend.

After the luncheon the guys had decided to auction themselves off for dinners with attendees and the money was going to the Itty scholarship, you can go to http://www.becharitable.org to learn more about that. The guys were hysterical.
They ended up raising over $21,000 for charity so a special thanks to Mark, Michael R and Michael M, Brendan, Francis, and of course my new favorite Jason for doing that.
I so wished I had an extra 3,000 to bid. Jason had 2 rabid fans bidding on him so he actually did two dinners so he raised over $6,000 for charity. By the time this con ended, I had the biggest crush on Jason Dohring.

The two banners on this page, my friend made for me when we thought there was going to be a Veronica Mars con this December, sadly it was cancelled, and with it my hopes of being Jason's PA (personal assistant) during the convention.
